Simple way how to use your phone camera as your computer webcam

In the era of work from home, it is common things to do meetings using video calls with your computer. But some people don't have a webcam attached to their computer. And instead of spending a few dollars on a webcam, you could use your phone camera as your computer webcam. 
Here is the simple way about how to use your phone camera as your computer webcam:
Note: This tutorial using an android phone with a windows computer, but you can also use this on your ios and mac.
1. Download droidcam application on your phone. or you can follow this link

2. Download droidcam on your computer and install it. You can download it on this link

just follow the steps

3. Connect your phone to the same wifi as your computer. you could also connect your phone to your computer using the USB cable
4. Choose which camera of your phone you want to use as a webcam,  tap the three-box on the upper right of your screen, then tap the camera, choose whether front or back camera

5. Check your droidcam application on your phone, and check the IP address, as seen in the picture above (step 4)
6. On your computer, start the droid cam application and Klik start

7. Enter the address on your phone, as you see on step number 4

7. If you can see your picture your computer, in the droid cam application, you just succeed connecting the phone camera to your computer

8. Open your video call application on the computer, such as zoom or google hangout.
9. And voila, you did it. you can use your phone camera as your computer webcam.

Note, if you want yo user the mic of your phone as well, there are a few more steps.
Please note that this tutorial made in windows 7. Other operating systems may be a bit different but the point is the same, you want to use your phone-mic as your computer default mic/audio input.
1. open windows control panel

2. Select "Hardware and Sound"

3. Select "Manage audio devices"

4. Click the "Recording" tab, and select the "Droidcam virtual audio", and click the  "Set Default" button.

And you're done making your mobile phone's mic as your computer default mic/audio input. Now you can make a video call using your computer with a mic and camera from your mobile phone.
